2008 Thanksgiving Outreach
In November of 2008, Kuni Honda partnered with local churches and urban ministry food banks
to help provide Thanksgiving dinner to the less fortunate in the Denver community. It is our goal to
provide enough food to 75 families so that they had the opportunity to prepare their food at home to
enjoy with their loved ones, friends, and neighbors. With the help of our customers the Ridgeline was
filled with 1500 pounds of food, 34 times!
2008 Bike MS 150
What is the Colorado 2008 ride? It's an annual 150 mile bike ride that helped to raise money for
finding a cure for Multiple Sclerosis. The race was from Westminster to Fort Collins and back,
in a 2 day journey on June 28th and 29th 2008.

St. Francis Center
St. Francis Center (SFC) is a refuge for men and women who are homeless in the metro Denver area, providing
services that enable people to meet their basic needs for daily survival and to transition out of homelessness.
It is a safe, inviting place to be during the day when other shelters are unavailable. Our staff includes a
social worker, nurse, mental health counselor and employment specialist and each of them is available to
assist SFC guests* with their concerns. More than anything else, St. Francis Center offers hope when it is needed most.

House of Hope is dedicated to providing safe shelter and resources for homeless women with
children. These families, overwhelmed with the daily struggle of where to stay the night and
find their next meal, find a safe place to stay while they begin to get back on their feet.
House of Hope's purpose is to assist families on the road to self-sufficiency.
